to me this qoute means pretty uch what it say if you have someone that is or says that they are your friend and they dont want to see you expand yourself as a person they they are not a true friend... a friend always is happy for u and wants to see you grow if they tell u not to speak or they are always trying to quite you then they are not a real friend
