5.1.1.
in this scence everything comes to light. viola and sebastian come together in the same toom and people are really confused. viola has done many things and sebastian has done many things. that both do not know what they have done s when wahat they have done is spoken they both have a confused look on their face because they have no idea what has happend. this is where everything that they have done comes to light and they are reunited again.. they all end up marryin who they wanted to marry.
5.1.2.
the significance of this scene is simple. the wins viola and sebastian meet up again.. after a long time of being a part they are reunited. they have though for the longest time that one was always dead but they werent they were undereach others noses for the whole time. he is important because its kind of the climax in the story that everyone has been waiting for after the love triangle. they are both in a room face to face looking the same and staring into each others eyes i cant wait to see this in the movie
5.1.3.
this question is for both sebastian and viola..how does it feel to be reunited with your brother. what was the first thought that entered your head when you seen your "other half" standing in front of you? viola how did it feel the whole time being someone that you were not?
5.1.4
"that most ingratful boy there by your side from the rude sea's enraged and foamy mouth did i redeem"
i am chosing this one because it is very descriptive. he uses description to woe you in and all he is saying is some thing very simple.. in this case all he was saying was that he rescued him from the sea but the way he writes it is very catching and it gets you into the reading.
5.1.5.
im a girl so they way i reacted was really girly.. when they all came into the room i was ready to get the popcorn and watch the drama unfold owever it came out not to bloody... it was like i was reading the ending of a good soap opara.
5.1.6.
the relationship the viola and sebastian has is wonderful. when they come in front of one another through the words it feeels as if they were never apart from one another. they are so happy at the fact that they are together again that they forogt that they were apart for so long.
5.1.7.
it has been so long since i have seen sebastian. i remeber all the times that we had together. it has been so long since we were together in flesh as one. the last memory i have is of the shiwreck.. i cant believe that i am standing in front of him.. what do i say.

4.3.1
in this scene olivia is giving her self to sebastian. she tells sebastian that he should marry her. sebastian does not really know wshat is going on but becasuse he is taken away by her beauty he agrees and they are to get married.
4.3.4
that they may fairly note this act of mine
to me this quote means that what she has done she knows that know one else has done it. she feels that she should go down in history. she wants people to know what she has done so she wants them to make a note of it so other can look at her.
4.2.1.
in this section they have locked up malvolio and sir topas is tourturoing him. sir topas is actually feste. feste is pretending to be sir topas. the clown feste is doing what he has to do and is doing a great job playing somone that he is not. sir toby is disgraced with his neice.
4.2.4.
bonos dies
to me this is a good way to end the converstation he had nothin futher to say to him so he pretty much just said bye and left it at that.
4.1.1
in this section feste took a message to sebastian and he cold not understand t he message. when fabian and sir andrew and sir toby come in sir andrew attacks sebastian violas brother. sebastian hits sir andrew back and the a fight is about to start but oliva steps up and says that everyone has to leave so everyone but sebastian leaves.
4.1.3
why did they start to fight? what originally pushed him to hit him?

3.4.4
He named sebastian. i my brother know yet living in my glass
this is a good qupte because they were talking to viloa who they thought was sebastian but really was cesario and it gave her hope that her brother was still alive. she said that she has a brother that looked exactly like her (him) in the back of her head she had hopes that her brpother was still alive. i cant wait to see this art in the fil and to compare them together.
3.4.3
When viola finds Sebastian alive what is she going to do? wil. viola tell her brother sebastian what she did to get the love of another man? what will sebastian do when he finds out that his siter did not frown? who will find who first and will they know that theya re each other?

3.3.1
antonio has over taken sebastian but at the same time he does not want to be ssen in the streets becuse he knows that he isnot wanted in the duke place. so he is very careful about where he goes and what he says. he is staying at a hotel thingy called Elephant. he staying there and ordering food.
3.3.4
i do not without danger walk these streets
to me this quote means that he knows that walkin on the duke streets his side of town he is not wanted so he knows that danger follows so he wealks them knowings that nothing good will come out of it
3.2.1
Sir andrew has passed by olivia and realized that she is showing more favor to the duke messanger (viola) and not him, he get upset. sir toby to make him still think that she is indeed in like with him tells him that she is only doing it to make him jealous. they tell him pretty much that he shold have went up there and showed him who was boss hog and let him know who girls that he was talking to.
3.2.4
you are now sailed into the north of my ladys opinion
tome this quote pretty much means that they are telling him that you are as good as gone she isnt going to care for you anymore you didnt go up there and regulate when she was talking to viola and he didnt so he lsot she wanted him to go and say something.
3.1.1
in this section it is mostly about olivia hinting at the fact that she likes the messanger she still does not know that the messanger is a women and that it is viola. olivia begs for viola to come back she tells him that it will get him to go to orsino but it will not
3.1.3
she is telling him the duke how she feels why doesnt he get it? why is viola and the clown making sophisticated small talk at the begging of the play? what is the purpose of it?

2.5.3
why is everyone in love with olivia? are there any other pretty girls in the court that they can talk to?
2.5.4
O for a stonebow, to hit him in the eye
to me this means that he is cursing him he want the worst thing that can happen to him to happent to him but im not sure
2.4.1
viola has told orsino that she loves him but the way she has told him he does not understand. orsino is still having viola send messages to olivia. orsino was in it for himself pretty much but after he hears a song it inspires him to send one one message to her to see if she is going to respond.
2.4.7 (viola) i really wish that i could expose myself to orsino. he does not see what i want hjim to see nor does he see i try to show him in his face. if he wasnt into someone that wasnt into him maybe he would see. and i wish that olivia would stop trying to get my attention she needs to see that i am a women but i dont want her to tell on me and put my business out there like that. man what am i to do. so much pressure so many things and so little time.
2.3.1
sir toby and andrew are at a party and they are drunk the clown comes in and the malvolio come in a nd is going to tell the secret that he know but maria comes up with an idea to write a letter to him and make him think that it is from olivia.
2.3.3
when maria writes this letter if they find out that it was her what is going to be her consequence? Why is maria so evil and spitful why is she writing this letter? will anyone tell on her? how will he react when he recieves this letter supposely from olivia?
2.2.1
in this scene malvolio catches up wit viola and gives her the ring that olivia has sent to he so she can return. viola starts to et scared because she is startin to think that olivia has feel in love or like with her man apperance not knowing the truth that she is a women. she is thinkin this because she has sent her a ring and she has not sent Duke orsino a ring.
2.2.3 now that she has told the truth that she is a women wat is going to happen? will malvolio go a nd tell? will malvolio sympotize for her and understand why she did what she did? will love overcome them when the truth comes out?
2.1.1
Antonio was the one who rescued sebastian the one that we thought had drowned. now the idea is twisted he thinks that his sister is the one that has drowned however they are all off the coast of illyria. when sebastian goes to set out for his sister at the duke place antonio his "hero" follows him but what he does not know that he is going to be denied acces because he is not welcome at the duke orsinos place
2.1.4
my bosom is full of kindness
to me this means that he is full of kindness his chest holds all the kindness that is needed and he is willing to give that kindness because he was there for him and helped him
1.5.1
in this section olivia has fallen in love wit the boy viola and send after him a ring and a invitation to return to her the next day. she does not know that he is a she. she feel in love with his persistance.
1.5.3
what is going to happen when she finds out the he is a she? if she exposes her secret what will hapen to her? can they deny the love that shw ahs for the duke? well they pity the fact that she went all out for his love?
1.4.1
the duke orsino has made viola (cesario) one of his favorites. he figures that she will be a great messanger to him for him to send messges to olivia. viola is willing to do it she has agreed but she also knows that it will be a very hard task to do because in this very short amount of time she has fell for the duke orsino.
1.4.3
why does the Duke want "Cesario" to help him woo Olivia? Why havent the other people he asked unable to help him? What makes him think that Viola can?

1.4.4
ill do my best to wooyour lady yet a barful strife!
to me this quote means a lot however the way i interpret is that she is speaking that what she would do is what she would expect as a wife even if it is a hard task to do she is willing to do it.
1.3.2
there is one part in this scene that is very important. sir andrew speaks about how many languages he can speak but when sir toby tells him something in french he does not know what he is saying. he appears to be slow in a way. maria is pratically giving herself to him and he has no idea what is going on.
1.3.6
At times in the play toby seems to be irritated with sir andrew. it seems that he is irritated with him and his stupidity. in the scene they are extremly friendly and caring for one another. from the begginig they seemed to be friends.
1.2.1
viola is disguising herself as a man to go and work with the duke orsino. she is being sent ashore on the coast of illyria. she found out that her brother sebastian has been "drowned". when she feels that the time is right she will show who she really is but not until then.
1.2.3
why couldnt she disguise herself? why did she need help? why did she go to the place anyway? and why did she not know where she was?
1.1.1
in this scene the duke of illyria comes into the play and is wanting the love of olivia. she does not pay him any attention and does not notice him because she has given her word and swore to the big people that she would not talk to anyone until she has mourned her brother for seven years because he is dead.
1.1.4
If music be the food of love, play on; i like this quote because what he is sayin is that he is so much in love that if music is what means that you are in love then he want them to play all the music that they cn becausde he really loves this girl.

Arduous (AR dyoo us)-difficult; painstaking
Examples:

Mountain climbing is a very arduous task.
She found being on the witness stand quite arduous and was glad when it was over.

Quote:
'Tis best to weigh The enemy more mighty than he seems
William Shakespeare

to me this qoute means that though it may be very arduous to keep your enemy close to you but you need to you may think less of you emeny and knock he or she down but you need to weigh them out as though they are your equal they could be far more capable of what you think.
Abstruse (ab STROOS)-hard to understand
Examples:

Many students of philosophy find the subject abstruse.
Abstruse explanations will not help me understand physics.

Quote:
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts
William Shakespeare

this quote you have to break down because if you do not then it wil be very abtruse how ever what it is basically saying is that the world that we are in is a stage and all of us are the actors. there are many doors that we can come in and exit out of at the same time and with all those doors we act as many differnt people depending on which door we come in. we are many diffent peopkle in our lives or at least have many differnet chracters

Vacillate (VA sill ayt)-to waver indecisively between one course of action or opinion and another

Examples:

Benjamin cannot decide who to vote for; he keeps vacillating between the two candidates.
If you keep vacillating about whether you want this job or not, someone else will take it from you.

Quote:
A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.
William Shakespeare

to me this quote mean that the fool known also as the man is vacillating betweent him being wise and him being a fool he to himself can be one in the sme thing
